Wedge wire screens are made from bars of profiled or specially shaped wire. This enables them to be used in a very versatile range of applications. . 

Wedge wire filters offer superior mechanical strength and finer apertures = optimum open area.

Slot opening, open area and apertures per linear dimensions may define screening performance. 

Surface filtration optimizes longer operational efficiencies. Flow out to in (FOTI), and flow in to out (FITO) available.

The wedge taper shape reduces clogging and screen wear when abrasives are present in the slurry. 

Sizes start from 23 mm diameters OD. 

Apertures from 0,01 mm.

Slotted wedge wire screen is produced through the method of electric resistance welding: wires with special profile are welded to supporting wires at 90 degrees angle. Its characteristic features are accurate production and precise gap sizes, which result in the ability to carry heavy loads. The slotted screen is also characterized by low possibility of blanking, perfectly smooth surface and high open surface ratio. As a result of modern technology of welding, different wires may be used, various slots in one wedge wire screen, as well as different distances between supporting wires can be created.

Water well screens are manufactured by a v or wedge shaped wire around an internal array of longitudinal support rods. Each intersecting point of these wire is fusion welded.The v or wedge shaped profile wire wraps around the support rods over the full length of the screen creating a continuous slot opening, hence the screen allows water (oil) to enter your well freely in ample quantities, while at the same time keeps the majority of sand and gravel out of the well.
